Birth Sling Hire

The Birth Sling

The Birth Sling is a great tool for active birth in all stages of labour, allowing mother to both be supported in upward positions, and hang from it.
It was created by an Australian Osteopath and birth worker.
Unfortunately, they are not currently sold in the UK, which can make this piece of equipment a little pricey for a single use (£119 incl. shipping).
As part of my birth library, the women I support at birth can use the Birth Sling for their labour from 37 weeks.

The Birth Sling provides versatile support for upright positions, which can help progress labour and reduce pressure on your body. It’s a simple yet effective tool to enhance your birthing experience.
For women who are further afield and not working with me, please enquire for hire, sent via post all around the UK.
6 week hire - £60

What’s Included:

Adjustable birth sling.
Arm slings for added support.
Door anchor for secure attachment.
Compact carry bag for convenience.

Ideal for supporting upright labour positions and encouraging active birthing.

How it Works:

Available for nationwide postal hire, with delivery via recorded post.
Please note I only have 2 Birth Slings in my library and my birth clients have priority in accessing them. If unavailable, I can recommend another UK doula who offers Birth Sling hire.

Have a look at The Birth Sling FAQ's here and their set up video here for more info on the sling design and use. See my Instagram for more demonstration videos of how the sling can be used during pregnancy and labour too.
